“Empowering your business growth with IT solutions”
Your rights over the personal data we hold, and how to exercise them under the GDPR.
We take your privacy seriously and are committed to protecting your personal data. This notice explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal data in compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
This notice sits alongside our Privacy Policy. Where the two overlap, this notice describes the additional rights available to individuals in the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom.
For the purposes of the UK GDPR and the EU General Data Protection Regulation, the controller of the personal data described in this notice is:
Technology Yours, Inc. is established in the United States and is not established in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom. Where the GDPR applies to our processing because we offer services to, or monitor the behaviour of, people in those territories, an EEA or UK representative may be required under Article 27. If you need to know whether a representative has been appointed for your territory, email contact@technologyyours.com and we will tell you.
We have not appointed a Data Protection Officer. Data protection enquiries are handled directly at the address above.
We may collect personal data such as your name, email address, phone number, and job title. We may also collect non-personal data such as your IP address and browsing history.
We use your personal data to provide IT consultation services and to communicate with you about our services. We may also use your personal data for marketing purposes if you have given us your consent to do so.
We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorised access, accidental loss, or destruction. We limit access to your personal data to those employees who need to know it, and we require them to keep it confidential.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to third parties. We may share your personal data with our service providers who need to access it in order to provide services to us.
We operate from Katy, Texas. If you contact us from the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, the personal data you give us is transferred to and processed in the United States, and may be handled by service providers acting on our behalf in the United States or elsewhere.
The United States is not the subject of a general adequacy decision covering all recipients. Where we transfer personal data out of the EEA or the UK, we rely on an appropriate safeguard recognised under Chapter V of the GDPR — in most cases the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses, together with the UK International Data Transfer Addendum where the UK GDPR applies — or on a derogation under Article 49, such as your explicit consent or the transfer being necessary to perform a contract with you.
You can ask us for a copy of the safeguard we rely on for a particular transfer by emailing contact@technologyyours.com.
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. You also have the right to object to the processing of your personal data, or to request that we restrict the processing of your personal data. To exercise these rights, please contact us using the details below.
