Your Texas privacy rights

Technology Yours, Inc. is established in the State of Texas, and this policy is written to align with the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act (TDPSA). If you are a Texas resident, you may ask us to do any of the following in relation to the personal data we hold about you:

  • Confirm and access — confirm whether we are processing your personal data, and obtain a copy of it.
  • Correct — correct inaccuracies in your personal data, taking into account its nature and the purpose of the processing.
  • Delete — delete personal data you provided to us or that we obtained about you.
  • Port — obtain a copy of your personal data in a portable and, to the extent technically feasible, readily usable format, where the processing is carried out by automated means.
  • Opt out — opt out of the sale of personal data, of targeted advertising, and of profiling in furtherance of decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects.

To make a request, email contact@technologyyours.com with the words “Texas privacy request” in the subject line and tell us which right you are exercising. We will respond within 45 days of receiving a request we can verify. Where the request is complex or numerous, we may extend that period once by a further 45 days and will tell you why before the first period ends. We do not charge for the first request in any twelve-month period.

We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request. If we cannot verify you using the information we already hold, we may ask you for additional information for that purpose only.

Appeals. If we decline to act on your request, we will tell you why. You may appeal that decision within a reasonable period by replying to our response or by emailing contact@technologyyours.com with “Appeal” in the subject line. We will respond to the appeal in writing within 60 days, setting out the reasons for our decision. If the appeal is denied, you may submit a complaint to the Texas Attorney General through the Consumer Protection Division at texasattorneygeneral.gov.

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for targeted advertising or for profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects about you.
